Under the theme “From Risk to Readiness,” the National Bushfire Conference 2025 will bring together leading experts from across Australia to explore how we can better prepare and respond with greater precision and design more resilient built environments.
We learn best from our peers. If you work in the industry and have insights to share or seeking to present topics of interest, we encourage you to submit an abstract and take part in your industry’s flagship conference.
The program will offer local and international participants the opportunity to:
focus on fire-resilient construction, materials, compliance with AS 3959, BAL-rated design strategies, and the application of bushfire protection standards
explore risk assessment methodologies, land use planning frameworks, state and local policy developments, vegetation management, and strategic mitigation planning.
The 2025 Conference Program Committee will review all abstracts and select speakers based on innovation, quality, relevance, focus, practical application, and timeliness.
Submissions close on 31 July 2025. Early submissions are encouraged.
