How to get there

Getting there

Address: 207 Adelaide Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia

Pan Pacific Perth is a 20min drive (15kms) from the Perth Airport

Public transportation out of Perth airport can be tricky because it has no rail line to the city. Depending on how much time you have to get downtown, choose from a private charter vehicle, taxi, or bus.

Private charter vehicles may be ideal if you are on a tight schedule or with a group. Drivers will meet and escort you to your vehicle. Vehicle services include Exceed Chauffeur Services (+61 410 669 525) and GranTourismo Range Rover (+61 419 998 887).

Prefer to hail a cab? Taxi stands are located outside each terminal. Or dial +61 131 008 for Black and White Cabs that serve Perth, or +61 13 13 30 for Swan Taxis. Uber is also available in Perth.

Consider airport bus services to Elizabeth Quay Bus Station downtown if you are not in a hurry. Transperth bus 380 travels from terminals 1 and 2, and bus 40 runs from terminals 3 and 4 to Elizabeth Quay Bus Station.

Clean and safe, Perth’s public transit system is formed by an extensive network of buses, trains, and ferries.

Government-operated under Transperth, Perth’s railway system and buses allow you to travel with a reusable SmartRider card that cuts 15%-25% off regular fares. SmartRider cards are available at Transperth Information Centres and retail outlets across town.

If you are staying downtown, you can also hop on and off the free Central Area Transit (CAT) buses that run daily in the city centre. CAT bus stops also have real-time route information that keeps you informed about bus arrival times.

Similarly, travel for free on any bus within the city’s free transit zone (FTZ). When travelling outside the Perth FTZ, however, do buy a ticket on board or pay with a SmartRider card.

Taxi stands are also located conveniently around the city. If you prefer to travel on water, you could catch the scenic Transperth ferry service between Elizabeth Quay Jetty and Mends St Jetty near the Perth Zoo. This ferry route runs long hours daily.
